Welcome to I2 Class! 🌟

Dear Parents,

A warm welcome to all our wonderful I2!

It has been a truly wonderful journey getting to know the lovely students in I2 Class, and I am excited to share this learning adventure with you. Before we begin this new chapter together, allow me to introduce myself and share a little about who I am, both inside and outside the classroom.

A Little About Me

My name is Teacher Robert, and I have been teaching English for more than a decade. Throughout my teaching career, I have had the opportunity to work in Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, China, Vietnam, and Taiwan, where I have spent the past three years teaching and learning alongside young learners. These international experiences have broadened my understanding of different teaching approaches, classroom cultures, and, most importantly, the unique needs and abilities of individual students.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy staying active and exploring my interests in sports, fitness, music, nature, and movies. I love playing basketball, badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and pickleball. Music is another passion of mine, and I enjoy strumming my guitar while singing my favorite songs. I also love dancing as a fun way to stay fit! Another interesting fact about me is that I am a certified freediver. Although work and family life keep me busy these days, I hope to return to this wonderful hobby when time allows.

My Teaching Philosophy

One of the things I love most about being a teacher is having the opportunity to be surrounded by young, curious, and enthusiastic learners. For me, learning should be more than simply memorizing words or completing activities. It should be a joyful, engaging, and meaningful experience that children look forward to every day.

My teaching philosophy is simple: make learning fun, interactive, and memorable! I believe children learn best when they feel happy, safe, supported, and confident enough to express themselves. Seeing my students smile, participate enthusiastically, ask questions, and celebrate their little achievements is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.

At this age, childhood is such a precious time. While academic learning is important, I also want my students to build happy memories, develop curiosity, and discover the joy of learning. My hope is that every child who enters our classroom feels welcomed, valued, and excited to learn something new.

Growing Together, One Step at a Time

As we move forward, I will continue to use a positive and encouraging approach in the classroom. I believe that every child learns at their own pace and has their own special strengths. Through praise, encouragement, patience, and appropriate guidance, I aim to help each student build confidence, become more independent, and develop a positive attitude toward learning.

Beyond academics, I also believe in nurturing important values such as kindness, respect, responsibility, cooperation, and perseverance. These qualities are just as important as academic knowledge because they help children develop essential life skills and build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

For our I2 learners, I will provide appropriate learning support, hands-on activities, and meaningful reinforcement to meet their individual learning needs. My goal is to create a classroom environment where every child has opportunities to participate, explore, make mistakes, learn from them, and grow with confidence. After all, every little step forward is worth celebrating!

Let's Be a Team!

Thank you for being part of this wonderful journey. I sincerely appreciate your trust, encouragement, and continued support. I believe that children thrive when teachers, school staff, and parents work hand in hand toward a common goal: helping every child grow into a happy, confident, caring, and capable learner.

Together, we can make this school year a meaningful and memorable experience for our students. I look forward to sharing their progress, celebrating their achievements, and creating many wonderful learning moments with them along the way.

Thank you for being our partners in this journey. Let's make this a fantastic year of learning, laughter, friendship, and growth!

Warmest regards,
Teacher Robert
💛

Simple Trick to Better Spacing and Cleaner Handwriting

A few students are already using this strategy, so I wanted to share it with everyone.

Here are two simple tips to help improve handwriting:

  1. Fold the page into vertical columns to help leave clear, even spacing between words.

  2. Take your time and write each word neatly.
